    Ross forms part of the Blean Woods. Lying between the cathedral city of Canterbury and the towns of Faversham, Whitstable and Herne Bay, The Blean is one of the largest areas of ancient woodland in England.

The campsite is ideally situated almost midway between Canterbury, with itís wonderful Cathedral and historic city centre, and the splendid seafronts of Herne Bay and Whitstable on the north Kent coast. Situated in the heart of the Blean medieval forest this idyllic camp site offers both indoor and outdoor camping facilities. Whether you are looking for an overnight stop, a base to visit Kentís many attractions, somewhere to experience or develop traditional camp skills, patrol, troop or unit camp Ross Wood is able to cater for your requirements.
